Description : A drummer at the Jaya Utsav, celebrating the Mahabharata traditions, in New Delhi, India.An initiative of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), this month long festival brings together the multiple interpretations of Mahabharata among people having their own distinctive traditions and cultures in various parts of the country. About 1200 folk artistes from all over India perform various devotional dances expressing the various facets of the epic.
