Description : A landscape of Kaptai Lake in the hill district of Rangamati in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is the largest man made lake in the country spreading over 680 square kilometers in the Rangamati hills. The lake was created during the building of 153 feet high and 1800 feet long Karnaphuli river dam for the hydroelectric power project in Kaptai. A popular tourist destination, the lake is full of fish and provides facilities for cruising, swimming and skiing.
