Description : Ana Maria?s home is full of love and food. She has understood her life in this way after.her mother threw her out of her house at the age 14 and after her belly squeaked of hunger during the so-called ?special period?. Her house is filled with women. She is divorced and raises two teenage daughters. She yearns for the time when everyone was an equal in Cuba. "Nowadays, you worth the money you have. That makes me suffer in silence." She considers herself a revolutionary woman and chooses Cuba as the country where she expects to spend her life and death. She learnt how to fly by writing short stories and poems. At her place, there are no mirrors: she seeks for her reflection on someone else?s eyes. Or in this picture...Havana City, 50th Anniversary of the Socialist Revolution. In 2009, while the Cuban society remains in constant adaptation and after the Regime entered into a new social and economic post-Sovietic period, Cuba reflects the need of present day revolutionary changes. Havana, Cuba.
