In Thailand, there descendents have settled in the area of Baan Tam-Ngob, Chaiprakarn District, Doi Mae Salong, Chiang Rai Province. Today there are very few exiled Kuomintang soldiers still alive. They try to preserve as much historical evidence in their area as they can.
